The only Black Friday survival guide you’ll need this year!

Black Friday has become a lot more than an American celebration over the past few years. It’s now a worldwide celebration of the best sales and deals that retailers have to offer.
You see it every year on the TV right? Thousands of people racing and rummaging for the last flat screen on sale at 75% off. Or major online retailer sites crashing due to the number of customers trying to check out at once.
But how can you actually beat the store mayhem and get yourself the best deals that Black Friday have to offer?
We have the perfect survival guide for you!
Make a list

It might remind you of school days, but make a list of what you want to buy or the places you want to go. This will help you stay on track, get in and out of stores quicker without getting sidetracked and distracted by other offers you may not even need/want.
If you prefer to do your Black Friday shopping in store rather than online, it might be a good idea to make a list of the locations or stores you want to go to, and whether they have parking. The last thing you want is to drive miles to your favourite store only to find there are no available parking spaces.
Start early

Black Friday sales normally advertise deals and discounts days before the sale launches. This is a great way to look up what is appealing to you and helps to save time rushing around the store or endlessly scrolling through websites searching for what you’re after.
Bring a friend

Black Friday shopping can be pretty intense. So why not bring along a friend, partner or family member? This can help it feel less stressful and you might be able to find better deals with someone else than you could on your own (just make sure to bag the best deal for yourself!)
Check returns policy

It’s wise to check the returns and exchange policies on anything you choose to buy in the Black Friday sales. Retailers may have a different policy for items sold in a sale, so it’s best to be sure so you don’t get stuck with something that no longer works or you don’t actually need.
Be aware of unsafe sites

With so many people rushing to get the best online deals, it can sometimes slip your mind to check the site your purchasing from is secure. Don’t give out your personal or bank information to any site which you think might be unsafe or seem sketchy. It’s also a good idea to only use a secure Wi-Fi connection.
Vouchers

Don’t forget, you can earn vouchers by taking our online paid surveys! This is a great way to earn some extra money or vouchers before Black Friday, multiplying your chances of getting the best deals available.
Don’t forget about Cyber Monday

You’re probably tempted to go all out for the Black Friday sales this year, but it might be a good idea to hold back a little. With Cyber Monday now as big as Black Friday, shoppers can find even better deals the Monday after Thanksgiving than they would on the Friday.
So, if you aren’t exactly happy with the Black Friday sales, don’t stress out. You might find just what you’re looking for on Cyber Monday.
