The show is about a woman named Eleanor who is killed by a truck and wakes up in ‘The Good Place’ (modeled after heaven) where people are unable to curse and hangovers don’t exist. After she is told that she is there due to her extensive humanitarian work, she realizes she has been confused with someone else. The show follows her trying to stay in ‘The Good Place’ by covering up her former life’s misdemeanors.

This is the third series based on the DC comics running at the moment, after the successes of Arrow and The Flash, this one has also proven popular with fans.This new second season sees Superman star in the series, which we are very excited about. This quirky comedy is an adaptation of the book by Douglas Adams (the author of A Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy). This new series is written by Max Landis and starring Samuel Barnett as the title character, along with Elijah Wood as his partner and best friend Todd. This hidden gem seems sure to draw a cult following.

Yet another offbeat concept, this is an endearing tale of two people coming together. The twist? One of them thinks apocalypse is coming in 8 months and has an ‘apocalyst’ bucket list that he wants to fulfill in that time. He inspires her to make her own list and the show follows their relationship as she tick off one experience after another.

This show needs no introduction. Widely touted as the next Game of Thrones, Westworld is already wowing people around the world. Only time will tell if the strange mix between sci-fi and period western will keep audiences engaged. We’ll be watching.
